Thanks to a generous organization known as Taglit Birthright Israel, I was lucky enough to spend 10 days in the land of Israel exactly one year ago. June 1-11, 2009 were 10 of the best days I have ever experienced in my life. The group I went with was called Israel Outdoors. I signed up and went not knowing a single soul. The trip included lots of hiking, cave diving, swimming, rafting, and other outdoor activities. It was perfection. Here are some photos of my travels there.
