Suiting Up

First off, any HIMYM fans out there (besides Ms. Sparkler)? I’m so ready to meet the mother already (I’m so happy it wasn’t Zoe!!)

Today we’re discussing attire for the lovely gentlemen in our wedding!

There are actually a lot of different options for dressing the guys in your wedding party. I have to say, I’m so glad we are getting married when the trends are really into mis-matched, antique, one-of-a-kind, personal type weddings. It really makes things easier if we don’t have to worry about everything matching perfectly! There are a lot of options out there for your groom and his guys.

This is definitely an area that the groom’s style and opinion can really come out. Shine on!

I left the actual choosing of the attire completely up to him, but tagged along for the trip to Al’s Formal Wear. He didn’t really jive with the whole mismatched look, and wound up going with something pretty traditional. He did keep it interesting by choosing to go with grey tuxedos instead of the usual black.

My wonderful groom will be sporting the Jean Yves Steel Twilight tuxedo with the tie, shirt, and vest shown here:

The groomsmen and ring bearer will be sporting the same suit and vest, but with a hunter green tie! Like so:
